🗓️ What’s happening in Cyprus right now
Late April and the first two weeks of May 2026 are unusually loaded and we share some of the Top Events in Cyprus. There’s a 2-day outdoor fitness festival, an international electronic music debut, a triathlon in Paphos, a trail race in the Troodos mountains, and the first-ever Cyprus show from one of Belgium’s most intense live acts. If you’ve been waiting for the season to properly start — it already has.
Here’s what’s on, with all the details you actually need.
💪 Heatwave Fitness Festival — Molos, Limassol
📍 Molos Promenade, Limassol | April 25–26, 2026 | 09:00–18:00 | From €85
This is a two-day all-access fitness festival on the seafront. One ticket covers everything: pilates, HIIT, bootcamp, boxing, yoga, strength training — delivered by instructors from Cyprus and abroad. Between sessions there are DJ sets running throughout, recovery zones, free massages, and a food court. No class booking required — you pick and go at your own pace.

🏊 Pafos Triathlon — Paphos
📍 Mpania, Paphos | Sunday, May 3, 2026 | Race starts from 07:00 | From €55
Olympic and Sprint distances on a course that uses the Mediterranean for the swim leg (water temperature around 18–19°C), a flat cycling route, and a coastal run. Open to age-group athletes and federation competitors. All finishers receive medals; championship titles are awarded in the Olympic distance.
- Race bag pick-up: Thursday April 30 at Activate Cyprus, Tochni (15:00–17:00) and Saturday May 2 at Alykes Beach, Paphos (11:00–17:00)
- Transition opens race day at 06:15

🏃 Cyprus Trail Race 5KM — Pano Platres

The 5th edition of this trail run through the Troodos village. The 5km route has 146m of elevation gain and is organised by Agro Cyprus in collaboration with Platres Municipality. Proceeds support Mikroi Iroes.

- Forest yoga sessions, gym classes, recovery and massage area available throughout the day

🎧 ZAMNA Limassol: ETKO Festival 2026
📍 ETKO Open Air, Limassol | May 2–3, 2026 | 16:00–00:00 | From €110
ZAMNA is making its Cyprus debut, and it’s landing at ETKO’s industrial open-air space in Limassol. This is the first-ever ZAMNA Festival in Cyprus, opening the summer season with a large-scale international production. Black Coffee is confirmed for Sunday; further artists are still to be announced for both days.
- 2-day festival, 8 hours of programming per day (16:00–00:00)
- Ticket options: single-day (Saturday or Sunday), VIP, backstage access, combined weekend pass, table packages for 4 (includes 1.5L premium vodka bottle + soft drinks)

🎸 Amenra Live — Downtown Live, Nicosia
📍 Downtown Live, Nicosia | Wednesday, May 13, 2026 | 20:00 | From €40
This is Amenra’s first live performance in Cyprus. The Belgian post-metal band — known for hypnotic rhythms, vocals that shift from whispers to screams, and immersive visual projections — is not a standard concert. Their shows are closer to rituals: demanding attention, emotional weight, and presence. Not for everyone. Essential for the right people.

💡 Practical notes
- The Pafos Triathlon and Cyprus Trail Race both fall on Sunday, May 3. If you’re interested in both, they’re in different locations (Paphos vs Platres) and start times don’t overlap, but logistics won’t be easy.
- ZAMNA runs across the same weekend (May 2–3) — plan your recovery accordingly.
- Amenra final release tickets are the last tier available. Buy before the show or try your luck at the door at €45.
- For the trail race, contact the organisers directly if you want accommodation packages.
